It contains Carragelose™, a natural ingredient derived from a type of red seaweed. Carragelose™ is proven to help eliminate multiple types of cold and flu viruses such as H1N1 and rhinoviruses - common causes of respiratory infections.

It traps and eliminates viruses, thereby have effects on symptom relief. Studies have looked at total symptoms and have demonstrated that BETADINE™ COLD DEFENCE will reduce the total symptoms such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sore throat, etc. when given as an early intervention for treatment of common cold and flu-like illness.
